Mary Wisecup MSW, LCSW, LCAS
I believe the most important relationship you have in your life is with yourself. We spend so much time and energy on other people, but it is just as important to put that same energy back into your own wellbeing.
Often people find themselves at a point where they feel stuck or frustrated about their relationships, careers, families and even themselves. During those times, it can be immensely helpful to allow someone else to help us reflect to move forward.
Today’s world can be very stressful, and I am honored to help people navigate the struggles of balancing all of life’s challenges. If you, or someone you care about, are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, risky thoughts, and difficult relationships, I offer the time and space to unpack that stress in a productive and peaceful way.
I have worked in both the inpatient psychiatrist setting and outpatient setting. I have extensive understanding of substance abuse, depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, and persistent mental illness. I enjoy working with individuals and families in creating healing and highlighting their own strengths.
I am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience, and I also maintain my license as a Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have a calm but straightforward approach focusing mostly on mindfulness skills, MI and CBT. More than anything, I enjoy helping people find comfort in the uncomfortableness of a stressful world.
